nlbossert 1 Posted May 4, 2013 Hey everyone! I had my sleeve on Tuesday. Still insanely sore. Any words of encouragement? Nicole
melodymouse 196 Posted May 4, 2013 Congratulations!! Just take it easy except for light walking. It improves your circulation and will help you heal faster. Plus it also helps the gas in your abdomen to dissipate. And Sip, sip, Sip that liquid!! = )
sumslim2b 4 Posted May 4, 2013 I had mine on Wednesday and I agree the walkjng helps the gas. Tremendously. Sip n walk but pace urself
KayCTheNewMe 50 Posted May 4, 2013 Congrats! Just had mine a week before you Hydration is the most important thing, but don't force anything. I had a hard time drinking and was able to get nausea meds which makes the world of difference. Don't push too much physically too. If it hurts, just relax, take it easy and try again. Good luck with your recovery!

wynk11 120 Posted May 5, 2013 Is it painful to touch or achy? Were your legs swollen before surgery? Did you have leg pumps on in hospital? I had cankles prior to surgery and now that they're down they are achy but its getting better daily. Good luck!
Hwynbrwneyes 16 Posted May 5, 2013 Had mine on Tuesday as well. Still in a ton of pain mostly on my rt side. I really hope I'm ready to go back to work on the 13th. I can't afford not to go back. Good luck , keep in touch
nlbossert 1 Posted May 5, 2013 My legs were never swollen before. They only hurt when I touch my calve muscles. Otherwise they don't really hurt. My right side is killing me too! I am going back to work Wednesday. I am probably pushing it, but I need to get back to some normalcy. I am struggling to find the line between not eating enough and eating too much. I feel really confused. I have also been having bowel movements all day and feel weak ugh.
