Rayna 4 Posted May 2, 2013 Well, there I was so excited to have scrambled egg for breakfast.....a teaspoon or 2 down and the excitement was lost! First time since my surgery on 23/4 that I felt like gagging!

steph41573 3 Posted May 2, 2013 That happened to me today. I tried cream of chicken Soup for lunch and it was delicious. I enjoyed it so much I had another one for dinner, and that didnt sit right at all. My poor tummy is rumbling and can't seem to stay out of the bathroom...must have been to much cream for one day. baby steps I guess! 1 Rayna reacted to this
Jami<3 11 Posted May 2, 2013 so you had surgery the 23rd and tried an egg already?
BonnieE 9 Posted May 2, 2013 My dr said that egg success rate is 50/50 so don't be too discouraged. They don't sit we'll with me either....but you are eating them way, way too soon!
devonmae 56 Posted May 2, 2013 I was sleeved the 22nd and tried my first egg a couple days ago. My doctor knows about it and he was fine with it. For me the full liquids stage is 1-2 weeks. I was doing fine on the fills so i advanced after a week.
LaBelle509 326 Posted May 3, 2013 Kind of early! Didn't introduce scrambled eggs( per NUT guidelines) until the soft texture phase. About 21 days post op.
JeffNNJ 111 Posted May 3, 2013 I can eat them but still can't get down a whole one.
Rayna 4 Posted May 3, 2013 Glad i am not alone! Yes, I am into the puréed stage. Strictly following my nutritionists recommendations. The first week was liquid, so am into my 2nd week now. Tried having yoghurt and milk earlier this week, that didn't sit well. Definately trial and error :-)
devonmae 56 Posted May 3, 2013 I was surprised with the egg cause i had a whole container of yogurt and i was fine.
