Relax! What's done is done.. Are you still on the soft stage? Planning should prevent events like your McMuffin Meltdown! Bring Snacks to work, string cheese, Protein shakes, Greek yogurt. Try to have a shake before you leave work, so your not "starving" when you pass McDonald's. Try to remember why you had this surgery in the first place, eating crap like McDonald's is not going to help you achieve your goal of weight loss. Don't wait until you are a breaking point to eat. You can do this, you just have to plan ahead for success! 1 Oliver's Mom reacted to this
lilbearzmom 584 Posted April 30, 2013 The Mcmuffin in itself is not terrible, but I would be worried about being able to eat it all at 3 weeks post-op.
enigmachik 403 Posted April 30, 2013 You may find that in a couple of weeks you are not able to eat quite as much as you can eat now. The reason is that at three weeks out, the nerves in your stomach that were severed during surgery are still pretty numb so you may not feel the restriction as readily as you will after those nerves repair themselves. 1 janarae reacted to this
