LeighAnneF 98 Posted January 4, 2014 I'm in Concord too, haven't had it yet, but will be making my appt with the surgeon next week. I have already done 7 months of medical diet plan so anxious to find out what else I will need to do to have it. I'm hoping to get in soon with dr Bauman

kmoore 97 Posted January 17, 2014 Live in Rock Hill, work in CLT. I was sleeved 12/31 at CMC MERCY by Dr Vilanuejva with Carolinas Weight Mgmt. I also live in Rock Hill and work in Charlotte. Had mine done 10-15-12 by Dr. Vollenger with Southeast Bariatrics. Lost from 239lbs to 177lbs the first year, had some "life issues" and am at 192lbs today. I am back on target with eating and exercise again and have lost 7lbs since Christmas The sleeve is like any tool, it does not work if not used properly. I am happy to be using it correctly again and am determined to meet my goal weight by this time next year

But Im curious what you were doing to gain weight? Just eating the wrong kind of food? I hear you can stretch the sleeve which is what worries me. This surgery was like my last option after all the diets ive tried so Im really worried I will lose the weight now but gain it back later :/ i feel I have so much still to learn about my sleeve!!
