Dobeigh 69 Posted April 27, 2013 Has anyone noticed a dramatic decrease in hunger around 2 months post op? All of the sudden, I'm not nearly as hungry. The only thing I can think of is less head hunger. I'm loving this though! 1 melodymouse reacted to this

Jugee44 9 Posted April 28, 2013 Helppppppppp ! I am 5 months post op and it seems just the opposite for me , I am happy with my weight loss so of 57 lbs, but for the past month the scale has not moved from 180lbs , my doctor is happy with my weight loss and after talking to the nurtitionist and telling her that I seem to get hungry more often and I am able to take in more food , she said that , thats the goal and that I am doing fine. BUT! I don't feel fine with that, any tips on how to jump start my weight loss again ?

We forget that as we lose weight we get more active so our bodies actually require more. Not eating enough can out weight on almost as fast as eating too much because our bodies go into starvation mode. If that doesn't work, try just Protein and veggies for 3 days. No fruit, grains, or dairy except for Greek yogurt or cottage cheese. I used both of those tricks to get mine going. You can also try a different type of exercise or do it at a different time of day. When our bodies get used to our routine they also slow into comfort mode. Hang in there. It will happen! 1 Dobeigh reacted to this
