Thought I'd share this , I posted it on FB group , some of you may have seen already . I feel like I was on an ad for Jenny Craig or something , lol. Feels GREAT!!!

My pant Sz was a very very tight 18 , should of been wearing a 20 or 22. Now in a size 5/6 :)

I'm in a tight 18 right now, which I'm excited about, but you've given me hope that a number that low is attainable. I was just hoping for a 12 at this point. Excellent job!!

Thanks everyone . I am 7 months out & I just weighed myself today & I am 7 lbs away from my goal weight. I'm so happy right now, Dr said it would probably take a yr to achieve , but I'm almost there, YAY ME!!!! I had to share this , & to everyone - you will get to your goal weight , don't give up, this new stomach of ours , is changing our lives for the better. So glad I had this done :)

Good job. You are doing so good. Very encouraging. Thanks for posting. I'm 3months out and went from 18W to a tight 14. Still a way to go.

Thanks :)

You will get there, I went through stalls & got discouraged , but little by little it comes off. Before the surgery , I wouldn't shed a pound. Now to lose 1-2 lbs a week or every other week is fine with me.

WOW! Look what I have to look forward too..In 20's and some of those are too tight. I was just aiming for a very comfortable 14 without the "W" behind it. Here I come size 14! Keep up the good work.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
