musiclover 61 Posted April 25, 2013 My knees have been a little achy but a couple of months ago I hurt my knee at a fitness class and tore a muscle inside my knee and I struggle a lot now with pain and mobility its really debilitating. I'm in my 40's and have always been active so this is making me miserable and I'm gaining weight as I can't exercise. Surgery for the sleeve is scheduled on May 21st, do you think i will start getting more mobility if I can take the pressure off my knee as I lose weight? I am really hoping to see an improvement as I love exercise and at the momen I can't even do a short walk due to the pain.
SerendipityHappens 1,594 Posted April 25, 2013 I'm 41 and work 50 hours a week on my feet all day. I used to come home straight after work and put my legs up and cry from the pain in my feet, ankles and knees. When I gave up wheat in November I noticed a great improvement even without weightloss though there was still some pain after my shift. Now it's getting better and better. I now work all day, go for a three mile walk, come home, prepare dinner and THEN put my feet up.. yeah my knees and ankles still do ache a bit but NOTHING like before.
