simonetwentynine 16 Posted April 24, 2013 Hi all, I know this sounds weired, but I'm suffering from an insanely itchy head , yet when I scratch I can nearly feel my scalp. I had my sleeve 6 weeks ago, I'm wondering if anyone else is having this weired sensation? Could it have something to do with the hair loss that sometimes occurs post surgery? lilyrose 33 Posted April 24, 2013 Wow, that sounds strange.. I can't help you with that question! I don't even get sleeved till July.. Just wanted to say hope that it sorts itself out soon. Must be annoying. Take care x

Threetimesacharm 1,400 Posted April 24, 2013 It could be related to Hair loss but also dry skin. With the low amount of food that we eat I think it also drys our skin. I do take Biotin but I still have itchy skin: tummy, head, arms. I use alot of creams too! 1 lilyrose reacted to this
moonlitestarbrite 902 Posted April 24, 2013 are you getting enough good fats and Protein? are you being followed by a nutritionist? sounds like a Vitamin deficiency to me. 1 lilyrose reacted to this
simonetwentynine 16 Posted April 24, 2013 •I try to eat 2/3 avocados a week , but no other good fats, I guess that's probably not enough. •I do see a Nut, but am not due to see her for a few weeks. •My intentions where to start a multi Vitamin as soon as I was on a full diet again , However I wasn't able to find a brand that had a small capsule ( I find the large ones hard to swallow ) So I bit the bullet and purchased some 2 weeks ago. I googled my symptoms & it turns out when hair follicles go into the resting phase they can cause itchy/burning/irritation & numbness. Ill call my Drs office on Friday , as its a public holiday in Australia today . Hopefully it's nothing to worry about it... Although it is driving me nuts! Benadryl is a cough elixir here in Australia, are u suggesting I take some kind of antihistamine perhaps? Thanks everyone for your comments & suggestions ???? 1 lilyrose reacted to this
Heyher 581 Posted April 24, 2013 One a day makes petite. They aren't super tiny, but a lot better then the regular full size pills. About 1/2 the size.
Fiddleman 4,376 Posted April 25, 2013 Do you think 1000 mg of fish oil a day would help your skin? Also benadryl will help with the itching temporarily until you figure out the cause.
