I made it to the Losers Bench!

Well I made it to the Loser's Bench!!! My surgery was yesterday morning! All went well. I ended up having a hernia repair as well. (I didn't even know that I had one!). Im still in a bit a pain, and am allowed to have ice chips. Man it feels weird to swallow! I can feel it the whole way down. I am so scared to swallow more today! My inscions look awesome! My doctor did a GREAT job!!!! My husband has been WONDERFUL, and hasn't left my side! He's a great "nurse"!. I am scared about swallowing anything today and am praying it all goes well! Thank you for all the positive thoughts and prayers!!! I also fond out I lost an official 18 pounds on my preop diet in 13 days!!!! Not to shabby!!!! )

Welcome to the Loser's Bench . I'm glad the surgery went well and you're lucky to have your husband by your side it's helpful to have support especially at the beginning.
