punzel426 19 Posted April 22, 2013 I have tried several multiple-Vitamins and am struggling. I am only about 2 was out. I never have done good with swallowing pills especially big ones like multi-vitamins. I am Currently taking the Flinstones ones and so far that has been the best but it still has a little after taste which makes me want to not take it. Therefore, I'm hoping a Gummy one exists that would work and not have aftertaste? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated... Please help! johnlatte 1,232 Posted April 22, 2013 Costco has a chewable adult Vitamin. I've been taking them since surgery and they seem just fine. 1 ISleevedIt reacted to this
getlownurse 105 Posted April 22, 2013 Have read of people taking two flinstone Vitamins. The thought was that two kid vitamins equals one adult. Not sure my thoughts on that, but throwing it out there. 1 sastexan4u@yahoo.com reacted to this

Gregory Donlin 7 Posted April 24, 2013 My Doctor told me that the chewables are not sufficient enough. I use the Bariatric Advantage chewable French Vanila Flavored which seems pretty tolerable. For the Calcium I use Bariatric Advantage calcium chewable Caramels it tastes like the werthers originals they have it in 500 mg so you need 4 a day. 1 sastexan4u@yahoo.com reacted to this

For the Calcium I use Bariatric Advantage calcium chewable Caramels it tastes like the werthers originals they have it in 500 mg so you need 4 a day. My doctor also said gummies work temporarily but they haven't worked very long for any of his patients. Also, I started the BA calcium chews and my doctor pointed me to GNC. They have Carmel's chews that are 1000 mg. so I only have to chew half as much! Worth looking into 1 sastexan4u@yahoo.com reacted to this
Gregory Donlin 7 Posted April 24, 2013 How do the ones from GNC taste?
lizv123 389 Posted April 24, 2013 Very similar. I actually prefer them because they're not quite as sugary sweet and don't leave the same taste on my tongue the BA do. I mostly went their because they're cheaper in the long run. About the same price per bag that lasts twice as long. They have chocolate, too. Now if they would just make lemon, I'd be one happy camper 1 sastexan4u@yahoo.com reacted to this
Gregory Donlin 7 Posted April 24, 2013 Yeah I will have to check that out because to be honest BA is on the pricey side but they make good products. I bought a bag from BA Lemon Flavor it's yummy but they only make Lemon in 250mg. Thanks for the Info

karpouzian 94 Posted May 4, 2013 Mu nutritionist said the waxy coating on the gummies keep them from being absorbed as well, no matter how well they are chewed. 1 lizv123 reacted to this
Rachel 28 Posted May 4, 2013 My nutritionist said that gummies aren't good because they take a lot of the minerals out of the Vitamins when they make the gummies for taste. 1 lizv123 reacted to this
