I was sleeved 12/27/12- doing great. My only complaint is recently I seem to be tired a lot. Aren't we all? Lol! But seriously, I'm taking Vitamins religiously including b-12 shot once a week. I'm getting a lot of Protein & Calcium. I am eating between 600-700 calories a day. But I just get drained by the end of the work day. Maybe it's also my job stress and recent traveling has caught up with me... Just wondering if anyone has felt this exhaustion as well?

I was sleeved 12/13/12 and I am always fatigued. I have complained about this alot and I also take B12 injections once a week. Also I have been taking Iron and d3 supplements and have taken b1 injections. I see my doctor on wednesday, as I have been seeing him once a month since surgery because of fatigue and major acid reflux, so I will be letting him know again how tired I am.

Iron? Be sure to get that, too. You need iron supplements. Without them you are going to be zoinked.

I'm 3 months out and eat between 800-1000 calories and don't seem to have fatigue issues. I also get in 80 gm Protein and 64 oz Water if not more! Good luck!

Glad I'm not alone! Sleeved 11/06/12 and I have constant fatigue! I seriously can't get enough sleep!!! I don't have any energy! I'm taking all my supplements religiously and getting in around 80 grams of Protein a day. I'm also drinking between 2 and 3 liters of Water every day.

I get my blood drawn later this month for my upcoming 6 month check up, so I'm hoping the results will help me understand what's going on with me.

My husband thinks I may need to play around with my food, maybe a little less Protein and up the carbs for a while. He seems to think I'm not getting enough carbs to fuel my body. Currently I'm getting around 30-60 grams.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
