When do they do that? I have pre op tomorrow at hospital

My dr did it after my paperwork was submitted to the insurance company...maybe your dr will schedule it at the pre-OP appt...do you have your surgery date yet?

Yes may 6th, I been on my pre op diet and everything is done and ready to go just waiting on pre op with hospital (they said only labs) and then surgery is may 6

Maybe your dr is not doing one. My dr does them on everyone. My friend's dr told her he only does them on people having heart burn and other gi problems....good luck!!! I wish I had my date and pre surgery diet going already!

If you haven't heard anything about it yet then your dr probably doesn't require one!
