WLS has its own lingo...who knew? I've been able to figure out most of it...but not sure what a slider food is. Is it different for everyone? I'm 8 weeks out and can only eat about 2-3 ounces of any food I've tried....even jello!

What constitutes a slider? 'Splain it to me...please.

It sounds like a very dangerous food!

It can be.. Especially when you get a bit further out. There are ways to cheat or eat around the sleeve by eating sliders. We all, at some point learn what they are for us. So like most things you have to make a choice as to how you will handle those foods.

For me sliders are chips, popcorn, and candy.< /p>

Foods that you can eat more of and typically make you want to eat more of them:

potato chips

crackers

popcorn

Cookies

cake

high sodium/fat/sugar can all be contributors to this.

Other examples of sliders are ice cream and milk shakes. These are foods that won't necessarily fill you up, but will cease weight loss and can actually make you gain.

Thanks....this totally helps. The only thing I've had that fits this category is some thin triscuits. I found they triggered a "eat more" response.
