BriDawn 79 Posted April 21, 2013 I was given that scrubby thing to clean my stomach with before surgery. But I can't remember if the nurse said to us it morning of or the night before surgery. I have to be at the hospital at 6 am. Anyone know?
Lissa 2,631 Posted April 21, 2013 I was given a bottle of hibicleanse and had to use it for the three nights before surgery, paying special attention to folds and only on the abdomen. I also took a shower with it the morning of surgery, but can't remember if that was a requirement. I'd call tonight and ask if anyone can tell you. I wish doctors would give us written instructions for this stuff!

juny 93 Posted April 21, 2013 I was given 2. One for the night before, one the morning of. I was told if I had a reaction not to use the second pad so I didn't.
BriDawn 79 Posted April 21, 2013 She only gave me one scrub... Hmm. I feel like she said to so it the night before but it makes more sense to me to so it morning of. I just hate having to wake up at 4am!
ToniRenae 17 Posted April 21, 2013 I was given 6 packs of hibicleanse wipes--my instructions were to shower regularly night before-no lotion or anything after. Then, using 3 packages, wipe down front of neck, chest, abdomen, arms & legs, let dry then go to bed. Next morning, no shower & repeat the wipe procedure. No lotion or deodorant. 1 LanaMae reacted to this
