nume2013 10 Posted April 21, 2013 When did you notice that you didn't have any pain in your left shoulder anymore. I'm 5 days post op and it's still hanging in there. I'm up and walking a lot.
AngelEyesInNJ 187 Posted April 21, 2013 Unfortunately I can't remember but if you have someone rub and pat your back like trying to burp a baby it may help a little it had helped me out a bit. Hope ya feel better soon.
aquitenonnymouse 206 Posted April 21, 2013 Just keep walking, walking, walking, walking. Mine mostly went away in about 3 days, but I've heard from lots of people who had it stick around for a little more than a week.
aquitenonnymouse 206 Posted April 21, 2013 Oh! Also try GasX chewables (if your surgeon says they are okay) and heating pads! Hope it gets better soon!
Tink22-sleeve 528 Posted April 21, 2013 I bet it will be gone in another 2 days. In the meantime, the thing that works the best is a heating pad. Feel better!
JerseyGirl68 1,172 Posted April 21, 2013 The gas pain I had was only in my shoulder area too. I found rolling my shoulders back one at a time helped break it up. I walked a lot too, but I did feel better after rolling my shoulders. Feel better! Good luck and Congratulations on your surgery!!
