fancynancy 39 Posted April 20, 2013 First burger since surgery in January. Tasted so good but I'm feeling so guilty. And the sad part is, it was very easy for me to do. ugh.... 1 tb21872 reacted to this

tb21872 31 Posted April 20, 2013 Lol! I have been DYING for a cheeseburger today. Have no idea why. Just wanting a cheeseburger. Your post made me smile. I didn't get one because I still have trouble eating ANY bread and when I eat that dang cheeseburger, I want it on a bun! Don't beat yourself up too bad. Ya just need a burger every once in a while and think of all the Protein in that meat patty! 2 mysleevemylife and Zazous reacted to this
Threetimesacharm 1,400 Posted April 20, 2013 So what is it that you want us to say? Congratulations you ate a cheeseburger!! Takingcontrol 467 Posted April 20, 2013 I'm not blasting you...just curious! I can only handle about 1/3 of a homemade hamburger patty...without any bread. Just wondering if you were able to eat the whole thing! I have been tempted to try though!! Lol 1 tb21872 reacted to this
ISleevedIt 380 Posted April 20, 2013 Did you eat the bread with it? If you did, then maybe next time only eat half or less of the bread. Fold the patty in half and you have a double cheese burger I haven't had a cheeseburger yet, but I like going to Arby's and getting the kid's roast beef sandwich, tossing out the bread. I also like to eat Popeye's spicy chicken drumstick. Only one will fill me up...lol 2 Newme48 and tb21872 reacted to this
fancynancy 39 Posted April 20, 2013 Hey Amazon... don't sound so offended. Really. I was just saying what is true for me. I had surgery, I've lost 60 pounds in 3 months, I am just being honest about my day. And yes, it was completely possible for me to eat a burger. No need to be "unsure" about anything. No need for congratulations... It's just my story... Glad you aren't tempted by fast foods!!! 20 *susan*, NJGurl19, Laceyvsg and 17 others reacted to this
Chubarella 87 Posted April 20, 2013 I've been thinking of eating a burger too but from Whataburger. 5 sastexan4u@yahoo.com, tb21872, ToniRenae and 2 others reacted to this
Babysteppin 165 Posted April 20, 2013 So what is it that you want us to say? Congratulations you ate a cheeseburger!! Or why would you want to eat crap fast food......................I hope that it is the latter. This seems harsh and passive agressive to me. (Not what VST is supposed to be about.) In my opinion, why post at all if it's not constructive? Better to just leave it alone and move on to a different topic that you can add value to. 24 tnellp, ISleevedIt, pottergirl and 21 others reacted to this
Ms.AntiBand 2,984 Posted April 20, 2013 I've had a cheese burger, but I order it without the bun and they serve it on a big lettuce leaf and I fold it like a taco and eat it.. I order extra pickles like its a delicacy. I no longer have any desire for bread.. Thank goodness! Watch your calories, sugars and starch on this journey to a new healthy you... 7 tb21872, ISleevedIt, TES and 4 others reacted to this
kimbernada 190 Posted April 20, 2013 I've had a grilled hamburger patty... but I still can't eat much for bread at almost 9 months out. (Bread doesn't appeal to me anymore either.)
kimbernada 190 Posted April 20, 2013 BUT... I HAVE asked co-workers if I could smell their fast food bag. I told them that I promised I wouldn't exhale my germs... just wanted a big ol' whiff of their burger and fries. I do that if someone brings in donuts too. Mmmmmm... sometimes the smell is really all I want. 9 CharmingTortoise, isajck, sharonintx and 6 others reacted to this
