Surgery was in January. I have lost 25 lbs. I really can't tell when I am full. I read where some people are full after 3 -4 tablespoons, but I don't have that sensation. How do you feel when you are full? I have been stalled for weeks. Need help.

I don't have a strong full sensation like a lot of people do. I measure my food and eat really slowly, I figure if I'm not hungry anymore then that's kinda the same as being full. I would say just measure your food so you don't over eat. Good luck

I remember in weight watchers (a long time ago) talking about this.. if you eat and then you have that "sigh" like.. ah... then you are full. Do you get that? I do sometimes. I used to ignore it, but trying to find it again!

My full feeling pretty much feels like there is not anymore room. :)

My nose starts running a little (this is a recent thing for me, so weird) but usually I get about 3-4 hiccups. I love it! I know I'm done when the hiccups start and it keeps me from overeating! :)

As far as "feeling" full, I guess I would have to agree in that it just feels like no more will fit.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
