pdog 51 Posted April 19, 2013 So I took my 1st Body Pump class tonight and OMG my legs and arms are so exhausted... It hurts to go up stairs or to lift my arm...but don't mind ...its something I never would have done before and after class I even stayed and biked for 30 min.. I'm actually enjoying exercise crazy And before when I would bike or trendmill 30 min seemed so long today on my own it was like a breeze and I kept making myself do sprints. I have gotten into spin classes! 2 angelab4real and TES reacted to this
1stBabeBorn5th 51 Posted April 19, 2013 Good for you. I just started a Bootcamp and EVERYTHING hurts! I'm surprised I made it this long.
Iniysa 157 Posted April 19, 2013 I keep sleeping through the Bootcamp classes. Do they have to make them so early? If they were 10-11am classes I would not have a problem, but I work night shift and there is not a lot that can wake me from 6-9am. LOL! So, for now; I will continue my midnight laps in the pool. 1 TES reacted to this

shuckybucky 107 Posted April 21, 2013 Body pump is AMAZING!! The first few times are tough and you will be sore from the neck down. I remember dreading going to the bathroom because it hurt to sit on the toilet. It will help to do some biking or spinning the day after your first class and work that soreness out of your legs. After a few weeks you will be addicted to body pump.
ndeekill 9 Posted April 21, 2013 This is so cool! I came to the site specifically looking for body pump threads. I tried it for the first time Thursday, and again today! It hurts so good. I'm in dire need of strength training and I'm so glad I finally got the guts to try this class. Gonna try it twice a week. I'm already looking forward to next time! 1 shuckybucky reacted to this

I try to go 3 - 4 times per week and I love when I get sore after.... feel like I accomplished something. Most of the Les Mills classes are awesome!!
LMFAO575 112 Posted April 21, 2013 Body pump is awesome as it focuses on all our main muscles in one hour. And it's FUN!!!!
