MrsG 329 Posted April 14, 2013 Ok I tried using the search function but couldn't come up with an answer. I would just like to know how many carbs I should be eating a day. I don't eat any grains but things like Beans and crab also have carbs. I'm almost 3 months out and want to make sure I'm not overdoing it with the carbs! Thanks! skinnygirlinside 60 Posted April 14, 2013 My docs say no carbs at all but dont think it can be done. I sometimes only take in 10 carbs a day and others it can be more.
VSGKirk 855 Posted April 14, 2013 My program doesn't have a carb restriction - they only care about me hitting my Fluid and Protein goals. That said, they also want me to always approach my food choices from a Protein first, then vegetables, then starchy carbs (if there's any room left). According to myfitnesspal I average 50g of carbs or less (with an occasional spike) per day. I've finished week #14 and am in week #15 with no stalls to date. 2 PEvette and MrsG reacted to this
PEvette 297 Posted April 14, 2013 I was told not to worry about carbs too much...just make sure the carbs I take in are complex carbs....they keep you fuller longer... 1 MrsG reacted to this

I hit 100 carbs today and thought that was a lot, but when I went back and looked I usually hit around 50, somedays 20. I guess I just panicked when I saw the 100 for today in MFP, it looked like a lot. I ate a lot of Beans today and they added up! Thank you!
