Ok so my hair is fallllllling out, which I knew would! Luckily I have super thick hair. It's still disturbing. So why is it only hair on my head that I'm shedding! Leg hair would be awesome right about now!

Mine is falling out too! I think I might make one of those hair babies people have been posting! You must check them out! They are hilarious! I have started taking Biotin which is supposed to be great for hair and nails although I am not sure of the max dose I can take. I've seen conflicting posts. I'll have to research it more! Good luck!

Yes, it is a pill..very small (well, at least, what I buy at Walmart is small) - no need for crushing.

I dread when this hits me...I am just over a month out...I, too, have the hair to the butt...

I haven't lost any hair and am 7 months out. I rarely remember to take my Vitamins but I do eat a lot of Atkins bars (at least 1 per day) and I have used Keranique from time to time on my hair. You are supposed to use it twice a day, I use it a couple times a week. Not sure if those are relative...

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
