I would like to hear what your experience has been with HMO Blue. They sent me their policies and it looks like it's covered...if so how strict are they about proof of weight loss programs? kedasmom 10 Posted January 5, 2007 I'm from MA and have HMO Blue. I'm waiting to hear the go ahead from the insurance co. My Dr. says there should be no problem getting them to paying. I have enough health issues to make the happy I guess. Dr. Kelly out of U-Mass, Worcester is going to do it. I should get the word with in the new 2 weeks. Kaydotrn 1 Posted January 5, 2007 HMO Blue Value paid for my surgery as I was over BMI of 35 and had Hypertension. They also pay for a BMI over 40. I did have a $500 deducitble that I paid for the hospital stay. Not too shabby... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
