Hi Janarae' date='

When will you be in Monterrey? That's nice of you to go with your Mom... wish her the best from me!

Cheers,

She's going to TJ, I will let her know.

Hi All,

Well, went to Monterrey and Dr. Sauceda for a TT with Lipo, BL and BA on Aug.29 and then eyelids and face on Sept 2. I flew back to the States on Sept 10th. I am very pleased with my results. My flat tummy is amazing. My boobs are beautiful and people say I look at least 10 years younger. Dr. S removed 6 pounds of skin and fat from my tummy area. The aftercare was excellent and I would travel to Mexico and Dr. S again in a heartbeat. I will post some photos as soon as I can. Cheers, Dottie

Dr Sauceda has a forum on Obesityhelp.com, where you can talk to lots of his patients. You can email photos and he will give suggestions on what you need and prices. His email is drsauceda@gmail.com

Great surgeon.

My husband's former girlfriend had all her work done in Mexico. The dr. was also licesnsed in California but it was cheaper in Mexico. His name is Dr. Quiroz and here is the web address. http://www.cosmedclinic.com/ She was his spokes person for several years and her before and after pics are still up. I do not any details about the recovery just that my husband said it was painful but worth it. Good luck!

Really considering Dr. Quiroz, would u mind telling me more about ur friends experience ? Thanks!

Cowgirl Jane,

Let us know how everything goes. I just got denied from my insurance for a Tummy Tuck. I am considering Mexico but I'm a little nervous about it.

I posted in a separate thread and included 2 week post op progress pix. I will update with one month photos soon.

I continue to heal up really well and I too am pleased with results. I am still in the compression garments so not really getting much of a chance to see the new body yet.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
