Favorite UNFLAVORED protein powder?

Recommended Posts

I know this has been discussed so I'm sorry for the repeat thread. HOWEVER, the search tool on this website is crap. When I search for unflavored Protein Powder, or even Protein powder it gives me NOTHING. Maybe I am doing it incorrectly? If so I would gladly be corrected. ;)

But I just want to know.... What's your favorite unflavored protein powder?

To mix w/ Soups / broths / etc.

Thanks!

The only one I have tried is unjury - it is not bad but you need to be careful mixing them with too hot of liquids they kinda glop up a bit after 130 - 140 degrees.

I have mixed it in Soup and honestly a little goes a long way - even though it is called unflavored - it has a distinct taste.

Unjury also has a chicken broth flavored Protein powder that is fairly good.

I use nectar unflavored. It is available from Bariatric Advantage.com. It is 10 g of Protein. It does not work well in warm-hot food/drink as it clots. I mixed it in the liquid I had before or after a meal when I was having something it wouldn't blend well with. It tastes like watered down milk.

I like Unjury also.. It dose have a slight taste to the unflavored. I add it to strong flavored foods or drinks and its not so noticable. I use it in veg juice or beef broth.< /p>

The only one I've bought is from ISOPURE. It has no taste (yep, I dipped my finger and cringed as I tasted it - no flavor whatsoever) But you can't cook with it.

I just blend it or sprinkle it into my food after its cooked - re fried Beans, puree cauliflower, lasagna, Soup, whatever. It is pretty good as a thickener.

The Unjury had a sour(?) taste. I didn't care for it.
