MyGoodThang 9 Posted April 12, 2013 I've been working out and trying to figure out ways to get these thighs to shrink and tighten!!! Any advice is welcomed!
nsquared 232 Posted April 12, 2013 Squats, lunges, stairs and cardio. Together they will help your thighs tighten over time.
Chelenka 827 Posted April 13, 2013 I have big thighs too but I have bad knees so the squats, lunges etc are out for me. Any other thigh muscle building ideas are greatly appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using VST

Newme48 104 Posted April 13, 2013 What about Water aerobics? Or swimming? The pain in my knees is pretty much gone but I still plan on trying to squeeze water aerobics to my exercise regime just to be good to my joints. Good luck!
hadouni 301 Posted April 15, 2013 Ok, this is random but if you're in an urban area (where there tend to be more varied activities) find a capoeira class. Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art and it will work your whole body but especially your core, legs and backside. I trained quite a bit in the late 1990s in LA and after the first class, it took me a few days for my muscles to relax and for me to try again. Second class, I made it through 30 minutes and had to sit down and watch. Unfortunately, I stiffened up so much I needed help up off the floor and could barely sit down or roll over in bed (NO JOKE) because my abs were so sore for the next 36+ hours. That was a Friday night. Sunday I MADE myself go out walking and then for a bike ride to try and loosen up my muscles. I went back a third time and was totally hooked. I ended up training 9+ hours a week and was in the best shape of my life. It's very much a whole body sport. 1 Newme48 reacted to this
rosehips 121 Posted April 16, 2013 I have been doing Water aerobics for 9 months and it is so much easier in the pool than on land. I have now added land exercises and there is a machine that works the inner thighs & a 2nd machine that works the outher thigh. You sit and do it so it is easy so far w/ 50 lbs on it. I will find out the real name, my friend says it is the Gump machine. I thought my thighs were never going to reduce, but they are improving a lot as I get closer to goal, can't wait to see what the next 20 lbs will accomplish
