brandyrn73 13 Posted April 12, 2013 Sadly I say denied too. I've done the Aetna game as well. They are a real stickler on their weight requirements and co morbids.
sueob1968 3 Posted April 12, 2013 I was denied twice so far. I have asked Lindstrom Obesity to assist. Hoping it will be approved. If not..self pay. Good luck. Don't lose hope..seems Aetna approves a lot of people without denial...but if you look, they deny a lot too,

Ashley B 1 Posted April 14, 2013 When you submitted all of your doctors and your personal letters, did you collect them all from each doctor and send them in one packet? Or did each doctor submit them personally?? I'm going to have to do this as well through United.

The.new.g 48 Posted April 19, 2013 I was denied for my band to sleeve revision twice by Aetna last year. I met all of their criteria listed in our revision policy at my employer, but they still denied me. After about 4 months, I finally reached the 40 BMI threshold again, and they approved me on 2nd appeal. But I did have surgery finally, 12/29/12.
