TexasMiss 314 Posted April 10, 2013 Grocery shopping has been a chore. It takes forever because I read labels...compare...read more labels lol. I was debating some kind of bread when I found these, "Flatout No Crust Flatbread". Says 100% whole wheat and low fat. One flatbread has 60 calories, 1g fat, 12g carbs, and 4g Protein. They are big enough I can cut it in half and make a sandwich for 30 calories and 6 carbs. I got kinda excited. I'm thinking mini pizza too! I'm going to make me a sandwich for dinner and the real test is... the taste. Keeping my fingers crossed! 5 ShariM735, BewhoGodcreatedmetobe, ISleevedIt and 2 others reacted to this
Sarahboy13 49 Posted April 10, 2013 Try Joseph's pittas or flats if you can find them, you can order them online as well, really low carb and only 60cal for a whole pita!! I think the carb count is 4 , I use them for everything, chicken gyros, pizzas, sandwiches, etc. even though I can usually only get in a quarter of one...lol 3 ShariM735, ISleevedIt and DivaMakeup reacted to this

SerendipityHappens 1,594 Posted April 11, 2013 Before I learned I was wheat intolerant, I'd do both the flat out and the joseph's products. I liked the ingredients and taste.. I'd use the josephs oat bran and flax to make toaster oven pizzas with veggies, diced tomatoes mozzarella and feta.. I'd just brush the pita with a bit of olive oil put on my fixins and pop it in the toaster oven.. BEST THING EVER... I'm REALLY going to miss those
