clk 3,519 Posted April 19, 2013 I'm more than two years out and while you can see my scars, they're faint and like the others here, not nearly as noticeable as my stretch marks. Which, while mostly white these days, are still far more visible than the faint discoloration where my surgery was performed. I'll take my size six, healthy weight, no diabetes and an active lifestyle and be happy for it, and would still say that even if I were covered in scars under my clothes! Oh wait, I AM scarred under my clothes - those stretch marks are lifelong scars that prove I was obese for more than half my life and carried four beautiful children in my body. What are four tiny little incision scars to that? ~Cheri 2 NtvTxn and vogue reacted to this
NtvTxn 1,262 Posted June 12, 2013 For those of you who are a few years post surgery, how are your scars looking? Anyone out there who have scars that have faded so well that they aren't even noticeable? Thanks! Three years yesterday and unless you are LOOKING for the little scars, they are not noticeable at all. In fact, I JUST looked and I can't find all five!!! I don't remember when they 'went away', at first they were a pink'ish color. Now, just real faded, like I said, all but gone.
