You are not alone in this...

I too was unable to get all liquids and Proteins in. I did the best I could and am still doing the same. I am6 weeks out today and it wasn't until last week that I was able to get all required quantities in.

Please don't strew and do the best you can. Try variety and temps. Set a plan for yourself and try to stick with it. It will get better.

I struggle with Water, but not Protein. I used to use Protein Drinks to help me get all the protein in that I needed, but since moving to a full food meal plan, I just eat enough chicken twice a day and get what is needed according to MFP. I'm trying to get water in, but I've just never been a super thirsty person. I can sip throughout the day and be just fine, but if I do it at that pace, I only get 20 to 30 oz in. I think that water is just really boring to me. I don't add flavor to my water because those mixes have a horrible aftertaste to me. I decided to start drinking hot tea throughout the day. I had previously given up drinking my morning coffee because I would sip it up until lunch time before drinking any water at all, and I knew that wasn't doing me any good. I'm hoping that tea will help me reach the right amount of daily water.

Just know you are not alone on this, if you read theough some of the threads you will see this over and over. Just know the further out you get, the easier it does become. Just keep giving it your best effort, I am 4 1/2 weeks out and I am just now able to get in all my Water and Protein. I found it difficult at first because it's hard to want to eat and drink when #1 I have no desire and #2 it hurt when I did. Just hang in there it will get better, good luck :)

Don't stress. It is really hard at first. You just have to make everything you put in your mouth count. Look for Higher sources of Protein. Premier from costco is 30g in 12 oz. nectar is 20-25 and you can mix it in more Water if you want. Remember, your Protein Drinks count as part of your daily liquid intake. It doesn't have to be 64 oz of just water. Very common misconception in our support group. A lot of people think it needs to be in addition to the protein drinks but it is 64 oz total liquid intake. You'll be able to get more as time goes on. = )
