MOBD 16 Posted April 10, 2013 It's amazing that it seems like just about everyone has a 3 week stall. Mine lasted about a week. I tried getting more fluids but I am not sure it matters. I think it's your body chemistry adjusting after the surgery...just my thoughts. I started losing again in the 4th week. Don't worry too much about it! 1 Butterthebean reacted to this

tomato pie 15 Posted April 10, 2013 I lost weight my first and second week after surgery but then began to gain weight and was very upset. But I waited it out and you know what happened? I got my period! I was not expecting it as I have not had one in over a year (PCOS and weight related, I'm 26 years old) and then I lost that weight after my period was over. There isn't much we can do about it except persevere. There is a link in my sig that talks about the inevitable stall. It explains why it happens. But there is no denying, it is just part of the package deal.
