Well I'm just not sure but I want a salad real bad. I'm a month post op and could really make good use of a salad! Hopefully someone here will let us know.

My nut had me wait 6-8 weeks for a taste of veggie! I waited around 5-6 to be honest.

Lol, I would have killed someone for some lettuce back then! But even now, I find myself thinking "Protein first" and I don't eat much else other than my Protein.< /p>

6 weeks I could eat anything. I so missed salad but by the time I could eat it, it does not taste that good to me. After 4 months I hardly ever eat more than a couple bites.

I was told 4 months for raw veggies and to take it slow introducing one at a time. Good luck

I could eat salads 1 month post. All docs have different plans. Best to ask your nutritionist

I started eating salad at about six out. I am 3 1/2 mos postop I eat salad frequently and have no problems with it.

I have found that romaine lettuce and others like it are easier to chew well, compared with iceberg.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
