cyncitygirl 100 Posted April 13, 2013 I'm glad I read this. I know it's normal to stall but I've been between 217-220 for 4 weeks!!! I have even started working out more and packing my own healthy meals, drinking shakes in the am. I don't get it. It's so frustrating. I feel like my body is comfortable at 220 bc I have been at this weight before and for a long time. And because I had the Lapband before I can eat more than other people. I hate it bc I feel like I can easily eat 1000 cal a day. I have to really watch it. Ok back to counting my calories!!! 1 sastexan4u@yahoo.com reacted to this
Nicolanz 1,484 Posted April 13, 2013 Counting calories sucks but is essential during weight loss. In my opinion anyway. 1 sastexan4u@yahoo.com reacted to this
BPN80 3 Posted April 13, 2013 Well my stall ended this week! Went from 234 to 228! I'm feeling really good about breaking into the 220's! I don't shake things up, I just kept doing what I've been doing. 2 esantiago2871 and Sadtosaygoodbye reacted to this

deputy630 34 Posted April 13, 2013 Cyncity if you take in 1000 cal a day and you burn 2000 a day. And one pound is 3500 cal you will loose about 1lb every 4 days. Isn't thats kinda right everybody. So don't worry it's all good you are doing fine. Keep on steppin sista. 2 Sadtosaygoodbye and sastexan4u@yahoo.com reacted to this
fire water 20 Posted April 14, 2013 I am 4 months out and am in the longest stall so far. I am down 61 total and am so happy. My goal is 150 but I am stuck at 165. Doing all the right things so trying not to get crazed about it. I guess if I don't lose more it would be ok since I feel like a new person but really want to get to goal. I guess we all get stalls but even a pound or two would be nice to keep the enthusiasm up.
Chris R 217 Posted April 14, 2013 My NUT tools me that people often hit a stall when they reach a weight that they stayed at for a while on the way up - like their body recognizes a familiar place and wants to linger there. As others have said, she said to mix things up when a stall hits. 1 beba238 reacted to this

It's like groundhogs day with the scale!! Lol 1 BewhoGodcreatedmetobe reacted to this

Imabeskinny 31 Posted April 14, 2013 I run through the following checklist when I don't lose for a few days: - Am I drinking 64+ of Water? This is my main culprit. - Am I getting in 60+ of Protein? - Am I taking all my Vitamins? - Calorie check - I will raise for a few days, then drop a couple days. - Carb check - I will lower to 20-30/day - How much did I exercise? 3-4 days/week - Is it that time of the month? - Am I obsessing too much over the scale? Usually if I take a week break and do the other things noted above, I will lose. - What are my NSVs, I can always find one (ex. I found my neck bone, or dropped a size, or finally did 20 burpees without dying) 1 sastexan4u@yahoo.com reacted to this
