dfdscott 53 Posted April 9, 2013 Nothing terrible its not a liquid diet. I usually have a shake in the morning and one for lunch and I've been eating 2oz. tuna with 1oz. Light mayo on a slice of toasted rye with 2 cups steamed broccoli or carrots with a cup of strawberries for desert. If I get real hungry during the day I have a Greek yogurt 0% of course. You're going to wish you could eat this stuff when you're on post-op liquid diet just look at it that way Just trying to spin this in a positive way good luck!!! Also, Soup is good because it has Protein and there is such a good variety out there. My pre op diet consisted of 2 shakes per day and one serving Soup. The variety really helped.
