becklynn 4 Posted April 8, 2013 Has anyone looked into having a Corset Trunkplasty? It looks like it would cover a lot more then just a regular Tummy Tuck. Anyone have any idea on pricing here in the states or Mexico.

CowgirlJane 14,260 Posted April 9, 2013 Lol.. ok I have never heard of this trunk corset deal and I am quite immersed in the plastics world right now.
VSGJean 68 Posted April 9, 2013 I have heard of it, not by that name. What I have found doing my research is that most tummy tucks include the "corset" procedure, at least the dr's in Mexico do. Are you a member of "sassy sleevers" on FB? We've been discussing it on there.
KristieAtkinson 589 Posted April 14, 2013 I'm scheduled to have a corset trunkplasty on May 28th. Basically it cuts across under both breasts, straight down center of belly, around belly button, & straight across hip to hip. It's like a big capital I. It gets all the skin & excess fat from breasts to hips. Then he pulls in, around, up & down & sews it all up. 3 sueBhoney, Ms skinniness and OneWritersSoul reacted to this

Including facility cost, anesthesia & surgeon fees, $8600. The recovery is significant. He said it will be 1-2 weeks before I feel like leaving the house & 6-8 weeks before I can go back to the gym. I've taken "before" pictures & I plan to post those & the after pictures for y'all. 5 MamaC, Takingcontrol, rizabonita and 2 others reacted to this

DayByDay 123 Posted April 21, 2013 I've been very interested in this procedure. Please share your outcome with us. There does not seem to be a lot of doctors doing this procedure but I am hopeful that will change by the time I'm ready for the next step. A Doctor at Geisinger pioneered this procedure. Here is some information for Geisinger: http://www.redefineyourself.com/corset_trunk/250_lb_loss.html Also another article: http://www.corsettrunkplasty.com/images/PSP-November-2012.pdf 1 OneWritersSoul reacted to this
