butterfly_gal 151 Posted April 8, 2013 I move on to the pureed stage in a few days and was curious about fruit yogurt. Right now I can't have yogurt with fruit in it, but did you have yogurt with fruit during purée stage?
TES 858 Posted April 8, 2013 Generally, yogurt with fruit has too many carbs for most surgeons' recommended diets. My RD recommended adding some canned pumpkin (pure pumpkin not pumpkin pie filling) and Splenda or Torani SF syrup--or you could do a low-carb all-fruit jam if you pureed it in the yogurt--if your RD and surgeon agree of course. Tink22-sleeve 528 Posted April 8, 2013 I avoided anything with chunks in it, just in case.
TES 858 Posted April 8, 2013 you could also puree some no-sugar-added peaches with Greek yogurt

Chaparra 85 Posted April 8, 2013 I was allowed greek yogurt on my full liquid diet. I did choose the kind with smaller fruit chunks and just made sure to chew it very well.
