Bmordan 16 Posted April 7, 2013 Hello, My surgery is tomorrow and I'm nervous. I'm also afraid I will have a lot of loose skin. Anyone here 5'8 and weight around 260-270 and doesn't have much loose skin?
reneetrom 31 Posted April 7, 2013 Im 5'9 and my starting weight was 275. Ive lost 30 pounds total and my surgerits y was March 21st. I don know your age, but Im 35 and have "youth" on my side, according to my surgeon. Once you can, start weight training. They say thats the best way to prevent lose skin. Good luck with your surgery. I actually found everything to be a breeze, no nausea, no vomiting, tolerating everything really well.
gaye jarvis 751 Posted April 7, 2013 I am 5'11" and started out at 334.9 and I have lost 116 lbs, I do have loose skin but its not near as ugly to me as the fat I had before the surgery! BigFatLoser 331 Posted April 7, 2013 I'm 5'9 and started almost a month ago at 287. Currently 262 and so far my body is shrinking nicely. I don't anticipate a whole lot of lose skin.
