free2live 6 Posted May 29, 2013 I just had surgery yesterday. Already at home but i am having a really hard time peeing! Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like I need to go get a catheter if it doesn't improve They had to straight cath me the day of surgery because I didn't have the urge to pee after that I would go to the bathroom and sit and was able to pee but still didn't feel an urge until the following day

radiant_rene 7 Posted May 30, 2013 Just had surgery yesterday somebody please tell me this gets better I can't keep anything down and still feeling nausea. They are keeping me in the hospital tonight. I was the same way on May 3rd. Yes it does get better. I had to stay in the hospital two nights. I felt horrible the first day. I was getting sick too but my doc gave me something to help the nausea. In am almost at week 4 and 40 lbs down since surgery. I was sad at first because I was in pain. However, by the second day, the tech had a hard time keeping up with me down the hallways because my doc wanted me to walk. I ride a bicycle for the first time in 15 years on yesterday. Just to do that again it was well worth the pain. 1 Brenda0928 reacted to this

k8ee 131 Posted May 30, 2013 I'm nearly 4 weeks post op and on soft food. I have been having a lot of trouble with nausea. I spoke to my surgeon about it and he said it was due to acid in my stomach. I'm on nexium for this but I'm allowed to use gaviscon before each meal to help with this. And I'm happy to say it has!! Finally! Sorry I'm a little excited! I just are some tuna and crackers and felt fine! And, the best part about it was there was 15g of Protein in it! 1 Blessedfun reacted to this

I like seeing that.
