Dunkin donuts sound like a recipe for disaster no matter how you slice it! :P

Can you stop at a store and pick up cottage cheese or go out and get a hearty cream Soup.< /p>

Or people always talk about Wendy's chili..

Any kind of potatoes really jacked me up. I have only found 2 things so far that have hurt me eating them, potatoes and beef. If there's a Duncan Donuts around, there's gotta be a grocery store nearby, pick up some microwavable bowls, and some cream of something Soup, you're good to go.

You really don't think you are going to get a big okey dokey for that do you?

Stop. Think. Make a better choice. You can do it.

Iam with Laura grab some chili. Duncan donuts is the devil at this stage in your journey. Plus there is not alot of Protein in fried tater tots.

I couldn't figure out dunkin donuts potatoes.. As in did the donut chain add potatoes to their menu?

WTH.. I just looked it up! I'm flabbergasted! They do have potatoes.. I'm speechless!

Ok, speechless is not me, going anywhere near donuts is not a good idea. Holy crap.. Potatoes at a donut shop!

I seriously thought you just missed a comma in between the donut and potatoes

*sighs and shakes head*

I was thinking about something with substance. I've been eating Soups ALOT...and Im tired of them to the point where I want to throw up.

My stomach never was or will be a fan of cottage cheese. Im frustrated with the amount of foods I am able to eat.

Yes believe it or not they have seasoned potatoes. I only thought about having them because on my discharge instructions for my puree stage it says I can have mashed potatoes but since dunkin donuts is the only near place to where I work...i figured go grab some n moosh them up.

Wendy's chili then... Potatoes will not stay with you (in a good way anyway) they will not satisfy as much as a Protein heavy choice.

Oh and I hate cottage cheese too :P

Believe it or not...I've never had chili...Is it good...?

If all you have is a dunkin donuts.. you can just order an egg with cheese on it. They have wakeup wraps and bagel sandwiches with egg.. so they'll sell you just the egg with cheese if you ask.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
