mlecompte 20 Posted April 4, 2013 Long story short, my insurance approved my surgery..then 7 days before my surgery they denied it. This happened 2 weeks ago…trying to get over it but still determined to have this surgery. Does anyone who went to Mexico know if it is possible to use any type of financing or anything like that, I say mexico because I know it is about less than half of what it costs here in the US. If anyone has information on financing for here in the United States that would be great as well…about how much would you think someone would need to finance in the US? 1 Dana Tumblin reacted to this

stefaniwg 172 Posted April 4, 2013 I am actually going to Mexico for $5500 that is including removing my lapband with Dr. Garcia. They have several financing companies you can use. Depending on which doctor you choose they will send you the information on the finance companies. I am choosing Mexico because it was going to cost me $17,000 here in the states which you can use care credit here.

stefaniwg 172 Posted April 5, 2013 Are you financing the 5500? No. I'm paying cash. Pinching pennies to have it all in time.
