Looks a little infected. You may want to call your doc.

You probably just need an abt ointment and oral one and should be good! Better to catch it early!

Is that where your drain tube was? Mine did the same (almost). My PC gave me a prescription for Mupirocin ointment, changed the band-aid 3 times a day and it looked great on the second day.

No, this is just one of the incisions. All my other one are healing great, not sure why this one is nasty haha

I think it looks ok, but for scarring purposes, a triple antibiotic ointment and a bandaid for a few days (change twice daily) would be a good idea.

Was it sutured or covered with dermabond? Either way it seems to be gaping a little. Worth getting checked out.

Since this could be a portway to your insides, I would definitely go see your PCP at least.. Better safe than sorry... :)

Mine looked like that too. In fact, they are just now starting to heal after weeks post op. The Dr told me to use peroxide for a few days and use neosporin. I did that and now am just keeping them clean with soap and Water and using a small amount of steroid cream each day. Finally getting better and aren't as sore as they were initially. Call your Dr and check, but you'll be fine.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
