baseballbaby 7 Posted April 3, 2013 I started the process in Feb and I was just approved today! Yay! I'm so excited. The only bad side to it.....my surgery is not until July, wish it was sooner. I dont even have another doc appt until mid June. So the next two and a half months are going to go by reeealllllly slow. 1 angela3472 reacted to this

I was pumped and ready to go. :-) many well wishes to you! I was told that surgery would be a month out after I was approved so I've been expecting an early May surgery, but oh well...what's two more months? I feel pumped and ready to go now but I'm sure the nerves will kick in closer to. What I'm really nervous about is the 2 week pre-op liquid diet. Ugh! angela3472 35 Posted April 3, 2013 I used Unjury chicken Soup, and Soy Protein. Don't buy a container if you don't have to. Also the Atkins shakes aren't bad. I get the chocolate and mocha latte. If you have a local GNC they'll let you try samples of their protein drinks/powders. I don't get the nasty after taste with Soy, also chicken broth, beef broth and sugar free Jello helps too. Don't forget cream Soups and puddings.< /p>
