I had my sleeve on exactlly a month before you, and I ran into the same 'problem'

So, I stopped getting on the scale, and took picture and body measurements instead. I promised myself to weigh only once a month.

Focus on healing yourself and focus on the big picture. You will start losing the weigh again! It's like waiting on a kettle to boil.

60gm of Proteins, and at least 64 floz of Water everyday. Hard, but work up to it!

Give your body a break, it's been through a lot! Your body's just figuring things out.

I will be rooting for you!

I know it's hard, but please be patient and keep doing what you're doing, because it will pass and the weight will drop. We almost all go through stalls. It's a part of the process. If you stay the course you will pass this bump in the road. Do not let discouragement cause you to get off your plan. Believe me, it WILL pass. Hang in there.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!! I am pushing through, it's hard getting the 64 oz of fluids and Protein in every day...of course you all know this. I am rooting for everyone out there because this is most definitely a full time job and something that takes dedication. I really hope we ALL achieve our goals!!

I joined a gym and can't wait to be cleared to lift a bit to start toning and of course I'm walking and it REALLY helps when you feel discomfort and know you're full.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
