Oh she, like her mother, is beautiful!

And you... Wow... You are made of Iron my friend! What a busy time, and then a new baby! I think I would be a blubbering wreck!

Congrats, again, not only on the birth of your daughter, but also on getting into your pre pregnancy jeans!

You continue to be my hero... Xx

Dear Elisheva

welcome to the world!!!!

i hear you are adoreable!!!!

you are a lucky little "princess"

you have a wonderful mommy who loves you so much :)

she has taken extra special care of herself just for you!!! and your sisters and dad too- but mainly for you.

she wanted to be healthy to be able to care of you

one day your mommy might tell you that she had a little problem being overweight

but she worked hard for a long time so she could fix that situation so she could continue her life for you - being very healthy

she wanted to make sure she could run after you always - and play with you

she is as lucky to have you as her new baby daughter - as you are lucky to have her for a wonderful new mommy!!!

be a good little girl :)

be sure to drink as much as you can - but drink slowly

have your proper portions from your baby food stop eating when you are full - don't push it!!!!

always chew slowly

never talk with your mouth ful

get plenty of rest

don't drink any carbonated soda :D

after you finish eating - do not drink for about 45-60 minutes

and never ever drink with your meals

or have too many carbs

follow these important rules - and you will lead a healthy, happy, long life

be a good girl for all your new family - especially your lovely wonderful mommy :)

congrats on your new life

big hugggggs

proudgrammy :)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
