Yoli3925 67 Posted April 3, 2013 Today was my pre-op class and I felt like I was so much more ahead of the game than some of the other people attending. The only thing I can say is thank you to this forum and everyone who posts. Some people in the class had no idea they would need Protein Shakes after surgery. Thanks to you all I have ordered my Unjury and Premier shakes. I also have a pretty good idea of what to expect after surgery. I'm just blessed to have found this site. 7 ProudGrammy, RebecaSparkles, Momonanomo and 4 others reacted to this
RebecaSparkles 247 Posted April 3, 2013 I feel the same way. It is almost disappointing to be in the room w/ others & you know soooooo much & they don't understand the concept of bariactric Vitamins. allons-y 3 SpaceDust, Yoli3925 and ProudGrammy reacted to this

I found it a few weeks post op, wish I had the knowledge pre op though. 3 SpaceDust, ProudGrammy and Yoli3925 reacted to this
SpaceDust 585 Posted April 3, 2013 I definitely feel very knowledgeable about the surgery and its aftermath after hanging out around here for nearly a year, and it was very much a part of me making the final decision to move forward with it. I love the fact that it ISN'T all sweetness and light here - we do get to hear the ugly side of things. But we can also hear the really good stuff, and we know the amount of work we're in for. Kudos to everyone on the site who is willing to share details, vent, cheer, and cry together. I hope you realize what a difference you're making by doing so! 2 Yoli3925 and ProudGrammy reacted to this
