Rocker for sure........I can't wait! I don't get much of a chance to watch TV because of both businesses.....but I never miss Idol......and Coronation Street. We tape that on Sunday mornings and it takes Hubby and I all week to get through the two hour tape.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh Idol!!!

I just love it in the begining when they show the people that are really bad. I think it sooo funny. After that and the singers get good i stop watching.

I totally was rooting for Chris Daughtry! American Idol doesnt need the country sound........they have Nashville Star for that, lol.

Yea...we need some diversity...Winning idols are so predictable they have a certain look certain style...Time for a change. Classical/Country/Crooner...Bring it On!

Huh?

Kelly -- Pop Princess

Ruben -- R&B smoothie

Fantasia -- Soul Sister

Carrie -- Country Star

Taylor -- Blues Man

How are they all the same? They are all from different genres of music, different looks, different style. I mean, good grief, who's style could you compare to Taylor? He's pretty unique!

I agree Tami, we had such a diversified group last year, that is one of the reasons it kept me interested until the very end.

I can't wait for season of American Idol!! I listen to all genres of music, so I didn't do the poll..It really depends on the person for me and their talent.

So far I have both of Kelly Clarkson's CDs, both of Ruben's CDs, Bo's, Fantasia, Chris Daughtry's, Clay's 1st CD, Justin Guirini, & Kimberly Locke's...I think that's it. I can't wait for Taylor's CD to come out...I also want to get Carrie's and Clay's 2nd CD too.

A crooner would be different, but I would still have to like them. I love that sound. Michael Buble is one of my favorites.

And I can't wait to see Jennifer Hudson in Dream Girls.

I hope North Carolina has another good year.

It's Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks who is married to the hunky Adrian Pasdar on NBC's Heros . She is gorgeous and talented and I just LOVE those girls....

This isn't to hijack this thread but to make a correction. I am OC in this area of my life.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
