MsVictorious1020 497 Posted April 2, 2013 And the countdown begins!!!! I'm only 2 days away from surgery. I am so beyond ready for the next steps and what's to come. I know it's not without a price of pain and hard work but I'm in this with my game face on. I feel like I'm starting a new life. I've made some awesome friends on this site and been inspired by countless individuals. I can't wait to have a story of my own to share. I'm down 6 pounds and feeling like I can conquer the world! 1 gagirl0583 reacted to this
sunshine4ever 6 Posted April 2, 2013 So exciting! My surgery is tomorrow. I'm a little nervous as I'm having it in Mexico but I've heard good things about doc. I'm siting at airport now getting ready to board my final flight. I have all my pre-op testing this afternoon. Good luck to you and I will see you on the "sleeved side" 1 MsVictorious1020 reacted to this

sunshine4ever 6 Posted April 6, 2013 How are you doing post-op? I feel better than I expected! For as nervous as I was it was a GREAT experience. I highly recommend my surgeon and the facility in Mexico to anyone else who is paying cash like me! Top notch facility and staff!
jcardona2713 0 Posted April 6, 2013 My pre-op started Thursday; surgery on the 4/15. Pre-op diet has been difficult for me. I used to drink a lot of soda so the caffeine headaches are a killer
EMSJen 6 Posted April 7, 2013 I get my sleeve 4/11 (tijuana)... caffeine headaches are getting to me as well!. Yesterday was the most difficult day on the pre op diet for me. I wanted everything and anything I saw or smelled! Today is much better, not really feeling too hungry... been snacking on sugar free popcicles at work
MsVictorious1020 497 Posted April 7, 2013 I'm feeling so much better today. The first two days post op were horrendous pain. I was very pleased with the wonderful treatment I received from the staff at the hospital. I never wanted for anything. After I was able to pass gas and go #2 I felt so much better. The ride home in my hubby's Tahoe was the worst. I say find the smoothest ride you can get. Other than that just poop and toot as much as possible so you can feel better quicker. Lmbo.
