I just had Vertical sleeve and it was covered by BCBS. I was "fast-tracked" to surgery because of my insurance coverage.

I live in MI but am covered by BCBS of Rhode Island and was approved with no issues at all

I just recently got my arm lifts and stomach covered by BCBSM. You will need lots of documentation of the issues your skin is causing along with pics from surgeon and letters from the doctors.
