I also make my own "noodles" out of zucchini & squash. I use this handy device:

http://www.amazon.com/Paderno-World-Cuisine-A4982799-Tri-Blade/dp/B0007Y9WHQ

But I also know people who make zucchini noodles using a veggie peeler. I just sauté in olive oil spray then top with either turkey & Pasta sauce or Alfredo & chicken. I also make lasagna with zucchini sliced in thin length wise slices like lasagna noodles. Nom nom nom!

But I will have to try these chicken noodles. :)

I'm curious. Do the noodles taste like Pasta or like chicken? I have purchased the ingredients, but I have to wait a couple more weeks to give them a try.

Thanks Skinny for the link. I start purée on Wednesday. Since the chicken is reduced to a liquid, is this recipe a purée or soft/mushie food?

They taste like chicken. I added a few spices to mine though, garlic and pepper

I asked my nutritionist, she said it would be considered pureed because it is pureed before it's cooked, and in my recipe, made into Soup so it's very moist. She gave me permission to use this recipe in Soup form when I start puree

I'm still pre op, so I didn't puree all the veggies or anything, but I plan to after October 2nd!

Happy to hear that it is considered purée. I just need to find the egg white powder and I'll be good to go.

I couldn't find any in stores, I had to get it off Amazon. Someone a couple comments back posted a link. At 11.5 grams for a tablespoon, it's worth having around

Where do you buy egg powder?

You should be able to find it in the baking isle at the grocery store :)

I saw think link posted. I was hoping to buy it locally. Buying it online is my backup plan.
