lotzasunshine 2 Posted April 15, 2009 So this is kinda gross, but i am wondering if my nail biting has something to do with me being perpetually stuck right now. Anyone heard of this happening? It just feels like there is always something there, and it would explain why I hurt without having eaten anything. Maybe they just built up above my band, and that may be why solids are not working so well. Any insight? I am debating whether or not to make myself throw up to see if that is it. I HATE throwing up though and have only thrown up a couple times since being banded.
mem620 3 Posted April 15, 2009 Hi Bella, I am down 2 pounds as of Monday the 13th. I had been kinda stuck for a couple of weeks, so this challenge has got me motivated again. Mary
lotzasunshine 2 Posted April 15, 2009 So, I actually did end up throwing up last night, and idk what the problem was but tonight I am feeling better and have been able to eat mushie food with no problems, so tomorrow I will try solids and see how it goes. marcyinak 0 Posted April 16, 2009 Hello folks! Been a LONG while...thought I'd just update and let you know I haven't died or fallen off the planet...yet! :-D I'm just hovering at 210 and although I really think this is fantastic, I'd sure like to get under 200...it's been almost 2 years, you think I could control myself! Geez! I'm going to get another fill in May and hopefully that'll cinch me up good and I'll lose that last 10 this summer...of course we had a BAD winter and it may be late June before all the snow melts here, but I went out walking today (and that sure isn't a regular activity for me!) Take care!

MissCheryl 0 Posted April 18, 2009 Heather, Welcome! Isn't Dr. K the greatest? I've never met a doc quite like him. I think the reason we all have such an easy time with the surgery is because of his great skill. Can't wait to hear aboout your weight loss! Cheryl
