minidriver 0 Posted May 31, 2008 awww, Dee, I'm so sorry about the house. That has to be so disappointing. Well . . . maybe you can continue to rent for awhile and look into school . . . This could be a blessing in disguise! You give so much good karma to the world. It will come back to you.
PrtyAntOvrYt 6 Posted May 31, 2008 Lap, or anyone else, who might know. What is the BMI that denotes Super Morbidly Obese, Morbidly Obese and Obese?
minidriver 0 Posted May 31, 2008 Mini! You got it Sister! Just don't forget to tell me what time your surgery is -- okay? I am thrilled to hear that you don't have to give up your NSAIDS! We discussed my thoughts on the subject... so I'm thrilled to hear that Dr. K has the same. Great minds think alike! J/K! I wish I was a Bariatric Surgeon! What a rewarding career! Helping people reach their potential to be the healthiest and happiest! I often think of how cute Dr. K looked in the picture with John when John reached his 100 lbs loss. Dr. K looked so proud. It was a proud moment for John, I know, but it was also a proud moment for Dr. K. I was a scared girl the first time, I went in for surgery, then it was canceled, by the second time, 2 months later, I was just so excited to be there! All my fear was gone! I will definitely let you know the time. Knowing that I could meet you would be fantastic.

minidriver 0 Posted May 31, 2008 I just had a funny (pathetic) thought. It's Friday night and we're sitting here chatting about our BMIs. Life is so exciting . . . sigh . . . . Maybe I should take that Lap Dance seminar! I'm sure my husband would enjoy that more than he enjoys watching me work my Laptop!
PrtyAntOvrYt 6 Posted May 31, 2008 Don't forget tomorrow morning is our first of 10 Challenge Weigh Ins. You don't have to post your actual weight, just if you lost or gained or remained the same. Feel free to share your food struggles, questions, concerns or ideas. What did you do that worked, what didn't? Tell us how you moved your body! Remember, we're all in this together! My daughter just passed by the door and said, "oh boy, are you on that Lap Band Forum again?" She knows I need a life! But does she know how much support and encouragement and good information I get from here! I am enjoying my Friday night with you Ms Minidriver!

Wow, I just looked at our local newspaper and there was a feature story on one of my students! She is a young Latina from a pretty rocky background who will be attending the Univ. of Minnesota to get a doctorate in neuroscience. I'm so damned proud of her. It made me all verklempt. Mal 0 Posted May 31, 2008 Dee~I just read your post. I am so sorry you had a sad day. Even though you had a bad day, you filled our day with kindness, caring and wonderful words of wisdom. Thank you and bless you my friend! You will find the house that is right for you. My neigborhood has many homes for sale, I welcome you as a neighbor any day! Lap~I think your daughter and my son are the same person??!!...could it be??? Hugs my friend, we will survive! I bought a bicycle today! My plans are to ride my bike to the gym, I would walk it home because it is up hill all the way home. ....must lose 15 pounds by Dr. K's BBQ...fill or no fill! Woofay~that would be such a kick in the arse to workout with our bandito buddies. I am going to check the military base this weekend, maybe they will have one??? If I find some, I will buy two of them. mimi~my favorite part about the wii is making people. I have made all of m famly and friends, it is hilarious how they look alike! Shelbie~go get em' with the DDR. I get so frustratd with it. I made my boys rearrange TV's, dig out the system, search for the game, & pad...then I tried it a few times and was like "I am SOOOO OVER THIS." It is still sitting there all hooked up with no one to play it!

That is great Mini! Just like Dr. K can be proud when his patients do well, teachers can be proud when their students do well! Especially when they follow in their footsteps and they come from a difficult past! Bravo!
PrtyAntOvrYt 6 Posted May 31, 2008 weigh in tomorrow??? I forgot...eeeeeewwww, don't want to! Mal! Yup, weigh in tomorrow! Bright and early! AND don't make me go to your house with my scale and force you to weigh! Don't test me, Mal! Don't make me get my angry eyes out! (remember on Toy Story-2, Mrs. Potato-head packed Mr. Potato-head's Angry Eyes?" At the 24-hour fitness center, there is a woman, who rides her bike to the center, runs on the trademill, swims with me for an hour and then she rides her bike home! I hate that woman! She's not human, BUT damn she has a hot body! I'd love to be your neighbor! Then I could really truly go to your house with my scale! You might change your mind about inviting me to your neighborhood, really fast!
