Sassygirl06 962 Posted March 30, 2013 I don't have a problem having any kind. But that might be a good thing for you...not being able to drink...there are a lot of empty calories you are avoiding!
syd5195 1 Posted March 31, 2013 I don't drink very often, but an occasional social drink would be nice. I just don't understand why it burns. I guess I need to ask my doc.

doreenladner 3 Posted April 2, 2013 Hi Syd. We were sleeved the same day. Currently I've lost 80 pounds! Congrats on your success so far. I've been out a few times for cocktails since surgery and haven't experienced the burning you have. It does take much less alcohol to get a buzz now though. Maybe try a different drink? I know that some favorite foods from presurgery don't settle well now so maybe it would be the same with the alcohol. Good luck!!
bumbles 11 Posted January 12, 2015 Now I want to know if anyone is having a problem with the alcohol effecting you more now? Getting drunk to easily?
